good quality.it is coated black. i guess anti rust layer . i purchased also another one with teflon coated but it was twice as expensive. difference is huge in touch but not sure if in action will make any difference apart from price ;)) attached photos of both.black standard coated. red teflon coated. Pro: I got what I ordered, seems like a good quality cable. Con: It arrived on the 4/1-21, but I ordered it on the 31/8-20. That's only impressive insofar as slowness goes. Pay for faster shipping, or buy elsewhere if you need it soon, which you probably do. Slight imperfection on the retaining end, nothing bad or that I can't fix on my own if I want to though.
